From the moment I stepped into Chops & Lobster Bar, I knew my family and I were in for a treat. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between cozy and elegant, with warm lighting and thoughtful décor that invites you to settle in and savor the experience.
The service was impeccable—attentive without being overbearing. Our server (Earl) was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations, ensuring every dish complemented the next.
Now, let’s talk about the food. Every plate was a masterpiece. The Porterhouse Lamb Chops was a revelation, with its perfectly balanced flavors and melt-in-your-mouth texture. The Hong Kong Sea Bass, a house specialty, was an explosion of taste that left me wanting more. Even the side dishes and desserts were crafted with care and attention to detail. You must try the Mediterranean Octopus!!!
One of the standout moments was the presentation. Each dish arrived like a work of art, showcasing the chef’s commitment to excellence.
The drinks were equally impressive. The Chops Old Fashioned and Herradura Blanco Margaritas was expertly mixed.
In short, Chops Lobster Bar is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates exceptional food, stellar service, and an unforgettable dining experience. A must if you’re visiting Atlanta!! Add to the top of your list. I’ll definitely be returning!

The food was ok, the service was great! I ordered the fish special. I’m sure they have better options on the menu though. I love how attentive the staff are. Chris was our main waiter and he was amazing!

Such a cool place and Atlanta icon! The staff really makes you feel like a rockstar!! My old fashion was really great ! The wife’s coke was from a glass bottle poured over ice ! Her fried lobster 🦞 tails were cooked perfect and super tasty! The birthday girl had a very delicious salmon! we shared some of the best mac n cheese ever. The asparagus was good, not great but not terrible by any means. Just thought it would have been better. Now my ribeye was by far one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. So so good !! cant wait to go again !!!

One of the best steakhouses in Atlanta. The food, service, and ambiance are on par with Atlanta's best, especially the Lobster Bar downstairs. Get the specialty peppercorn filet; it is such a unique plate with so many flavors. Thoroughly impressed with the Japanese Wyagu options. Highly recommend.

We were here to celebrate a birthday with a large group. While waiting for guests to arrive, we waited at the bar and ordered a martini with blue cheese stuffed olives, which was cold and a heavy pour. Once seated the atmosphere was loud and we could barely make out our servers name. Luckily, they had multiple servers in the section that were able to accommodate. We started with a lobster bisque that had a heaping portion of lobster meat and then poured over with a rich, creamy broth. We then got a seafood tower that was delicious - from oysters, lobster tails, shrimp, and generous portions of crab meat. The servers wine recommendation was surprisingly amazing. There wasn’t much of a selection of steaks compared to other steakhouses. My wife and I ordered the Tomahawk Ribeye for two, which looked like most of the weight was the bone. It was good, but not the best I’ve had. Our friends got the Porter House which was cooked to perfection and tasted even better with Truffle Butter. Sides were also decent: broccolini, garlic mash potato, and Gouda Mac & Cheese. We chose this place for the Banana Cream pie - this was a staple dessert we usually got at Buckhead Diner, which closed down. It tasted exactly the same and brought back some fond memories. All in, the price point was fair and the service was impeccable.
